Welcome to my first blog! I have created this blog to keep family and friends updated on our journey to adopt from Russia. Reading adoption blogs of others going through the process has helped with the wait, so I finally decided to start our own. Enjoy!

9/1/10 to 9/17/10 - Travel (16 days from TA)
8/16/10 - TA(25 days from Article 5)
7/22/10 Article 5 (2 weeks from Drop off)
7/8/10 - Drop off @ US Consulate(2 days from NVC Letter)
7/6/10 - Received NVC Letter( 6 days from Cabled)
6/30/10 - NVC Cabled to China (6 days from I-800)
6/24/10 - I-800 approval (15 days after LOA)
6/4/10 - LOA(28 days from LID received 6/7)
5/7/10 - LID(12 days from DTC)
4/28/10 - DTC
4/12/10 - Mailed Final Paper to Madison
4/9/10 - Received Approval in Mail(40 days)
4/6/10 - Verbal Approval of I-800A(officer not assigned til 4/5)
3/31/10 - Fingerprinted Early(appt for 4/6)
3/22/10 - Received Fingerprint Appt(dated 3/18)
3/11/10 - Received Mail Receipt I800A(dated 3/5)
3/9/10 - Mailed Most of Dossier to Madison
3/8/10 - Email Receipt of I800A
3/3/10 - Received Dossier Extension for 5/27/10
3/1/10 - Mailed I800A(overnight)
2/23/10 - Home Study Completed
11/27/09 - Pre-Approved (PA)
11/23/09 - Letter of Intent (LOI)
11/17/09 - File Locked
11/14/09 - Saw Sophia's File for 1st Time

7/24/08 - Left Little M in Astrakhan
7/21/08 - Met Our Little Boy
7/18/08 - Leave for Trip 1 to Russia
6/27/08 - Received Referral #2 !!!
6/16/08 - Decision to Request New Referral
5/16/08 - Leave for Russia Trip 1
4/21/08 - Received Our Referral!!!!
1/9/08 - Assigned to Astrakhan Region
12/19/07 -- CHI Receives Accreditation
10/2007 - Dossier Sent to Russia
